Our Story

The Floating Cafe has been serving our lake community since the 1960s - Mandee and Albert - Current Managers

 With over 30 years of hospitality and food service experience, Mandee is proud to deliver the ultimate dining on the water to the Indian Point, Missouri area.   Inspired by her training through the Hospitality Management program at Ozark Technical College, Mandee has delivered on a concept that brings tasty food to the Indian Point Floating Cafe. Also, Mandee wants the ambiance of dining on the water to provide an unforgettable experience for her customers.  One can come by land or water, and Mandee and her staff deliver the rest, leaving you completely free to relax and enjoy the excellent food and atmosphere.


Hospitality-focused, dedicated to excellence, and highly knowledgeable are just a few terms most often used to describe Mandee.  The Springfield native was immersed in the food service industry at the early age of  16.   Mandee went on to build a career in hospitality, working in every restaurant position, from server to cooking, and now is ultimately the owner of the Indian Point Floating Cafe on the beautiful Table Rock Lake.  One of Mandee's biggest fans is her husband, Albert, who also loves to cook.  Albert a Florida native loves to bring the Cuban flare to the restaurant now and then.  Please, stop by to meet Mandee and Albert, you won't be disappointed.
